Boom of Real Estate Sales in Bulgaria's Small Towns
A drastic growth in the sales of real estates in Bulgaria's small towns is expected, because of the accession of the country into the EU. There will not be a hike in the prices of properties
Real estate agents say there will be many hot deals on Bulgaria's real estate market this autumn.
"The investors' interest will grow higher in the next four or six months and so will the number of concluded deals," Strahil Ivanov, CEO of the Yavlena Real Estate Agency, told Standart.
His optimistic prognosis is occasioned by the positive report of the EC on Bulgaria's accession into the EU.
According to Ivanov, there is a noticeable growth in the sales of real estates and land in the small towns, as compared to the number of concluded deals at the beginning of the year.
The active real estate market will not trigger higher prices of properties, experts from the National Real Property Association say. "If there is an increase in the prices of real estates, it will be a slow one and will depend on the type and location of the property, as well as on the infrastructure and the opportunities, offered by the region," Orlin Vladikov, Chairman of the National Real Property Association and CEO of the Orvitex Real Estate Agency, told Standart.
In the course of time, the investments in real estates will become less and less profitable and the price differences between the different categories of real estates will become vaster.
Real estate agents from across the world will gather in Sofia's Kempinski Hotel Zografski at a congress of the International Real Estate Federation FIBCI and the 12th Central European Real Estate Associations Network, October 12-14. The forum is organized by the National Real Property Association. The participants will discuss the expected developments on the European real estate market by 2010, as well as the future of the investors in real estates on the Balkans and the perspectives before the real estate market in Bulgaria. |

EasyJet announces expansion in Bulgaria and seven NEW routes.
EasyJet, Europe’s leading low-fares airline, today announced the addition of seven new routes this Autumn, including new connections to currently served destinations and the addition of Bulgaria to its network.
The introduction of the three times weekly service between London Gatwick and Sofia, which commences on 6 November, reflects the airline’s continued commitment to growth in Central Eastern Europe and follows the recent announcement that the airline will also enter the Romanian market as well as the introduction of routes to Gdansk in Poland.

Bulgaria Switches to Euro in 2010 at the Earliest

Sofia. Bulgaria is set to switch to euro currency in 2010 at the earliest, the governor of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) Ivan Iskrov said, as cited by Pari Daily.
The publication adds that Bulgaria’s accession will bring fierce competition. The market will become open, some banks will open new branches around the country but a massive invasion of foreign banks is not expected. As for the level of prices nothing dramatic should be expected. Bulgaria is very well prepared because of the currency board and the fixed EUR/BGN exchange rate, the article reads further.
